Rest in Peace, Yun

Her name is Wong Yun Ru. I was told to address her as Irene. (I never found out why) She’s turning 22 years old. She is from Malaysia and she has two sisters. She is a really huge running man fan and her bias has and always will be Lee Kwangsoo. She graduated and just started working recently… She has been with RunningManCast for almost a year now. She’s very hardworking, she loves to talk about Kwangsoo and she is always willing to help me whenever needed.

And that was Wong Yun Ru, a very close comrade of mine.

It is with a heavy heart that I inform everyone that our beloved admin from Malaysia, known as Yun, has passed away in an unfortunate car accident. She was in a coma for 2 days after her family got into a car accident and unfortunately, she was not able to make it. When I received the news, I was deeply shocked. She was a really close friend. We exchanged messages a lot and even though we have never met physically, I could always depend on her.

A year back, I wanted to shut down RunningManCast due to personal problems but she brought me back on my feet. She sent me an email and she contacted me personally and said she would give as much help as possible just to keep RunningManCast running. She kept to her word. She dedicated her time to updating the account and with our interlocking passion, we had a common topic and became really great friends over the internet. I was grateful to Running Man as it gave me a chance to meet her.

Just two weeks ago, she told me she would finally be able to visit Korea in August and asked if I could get her to meet the running man members. She had it all planned and she was going to see Kwangsoo for sure. It was literally a dream of hers. It breaks my heart to know that this dream of hers will never be fulfilled. It pains me to know that she had such a bright future ahead but was met with a very unfortunate accident.

Back in January, she met Kwangsoo for the very first time. She was very thrilled when the news was announced. I offered her a free ticket as I was aware she had been saving for it but she rejected it and said she would get the first row ticket as she wants to see him up close. She got a chance to interact and play games with him on stage and right after the fanmeet, she told me about it. It was one of her best days. Thank you Kwangsoo, for making her smile.

I hope you are happy wherever you are. It must have been tough to have fought two days for your life. I will pray for your family, Yun. Rest in Peace. I love you.

Your dearest admin,

Oph

Lee Kwangsoo Fanmeeting in Malaysia

JS Concert Productions with Faith & D Entertainment and King Kong Entertainment proudly presents the much anticipated Lee Kwang Soo Fan Meeting In Malaysia that will be held at 7pm on Saturday, 4th of January 2014 at KWC Fashion Mall in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysian fans of Running Man will be in store for a session that will get them up and close with one of the cast most “paid attention to” personalities; Lee Kwang-Soo; who is known as the framing master, betrayer, and giraffe in the show. He was originally only known to be timid and quiet at the show’s commencement but slowly became the show’s resident traitor as betrayal became all the more prominent in the show. His hilarious and charismatic personality in Running Man propels him into international stardom and even given the title of Asia’s Prince because of his immense popularity across Asia.

The Lee Kwang Soo Fan Meeting will offer Malaysians a chance to see him perform and serenade them with songs and dance live whilst getting to know him up close and personal beyond the personae they see him as on the small screen in The Running Man. He will participate in the various interactive fun and games which will be spontaneous and riotous for all involved. Surely a fan meets artist event of epic proportions that must not be missed for all Lee Kwang Soo fans.

Ticket categories available for purchase will be Premium Zone – RM 498 (All Premium ticket holders are entitled to Hi5 with Lee Kwang Soo and get an autograph poster from him) ; Category 1 at RM 298 and Category 2 at RM 158

[Coverage] HaHa and Skull Press Conference in Singapore

HaHa, along with his Reggae duo partner, Skull, were in Singapore last month for a fan meeting event. They were equally excited as it was their first time in Singapore.

HaHa briefly mentions that Jongkook had a fanmeeting in Singapore and Kwangsoo was next on the list. Regarding a filming in Singapore (we saw it coming), HaHa replies with “I don’t know, maybe” thus receiving mixed reactions, mostly on the positive side. “Did you expect Runinng Man to be so popular overseas” to which HaHa replies that it was a surprise to him and even the crew as the show wasn’t that popular in the beginning. He explained that it was the special episodes filming overseas that caused more overseas fans to watch the show and thus, became more popular.

With a Running Man question thrown at Skull, Skull reveals he is a HUGE fan of Running Man and was never jealous of HaHa due to his popularity. He respects HaHa for what he does and because of him, they were able to meet the fans in Singapore.
